THE PROJECT

Goblin System:

is the concept on which the project is based GOBLIN.

The basic idea is to compose the helicopter with autonomous functional modules and compact.
The benefits sought are rationality, simplicity, maintainability and transversality in various projects.

The analysis has led to divide the helicopter into three modules.

Form transmission and control (patented)
Module support and cart batteries
Form tail (Patented)

The module and control transmission is made ​​primarily from aluminum frame single indestructiblethey power all the major components such as helicopter servos, engine, transmission, FBL sensor, and interface for the tail pipe.The stiffness of the system is ensured by a single component and not by a set of details.By careful study we used a FEM analysis software.

Transmission

●Brand new redesigned 3GX represents a new generation of multi function flybarless system. The dramatically improved performance will create immediate impact on any enthusiasts.
●3GX is currently the smallest and lightest flybarless system on the market. Two ports to directly connect Spektrum and JR satellite receivers, along with full support of Futaba’s S-BUS system.
●Based on the 3G FL760 manual setup process, the 3GX can be setup in a few minutes through a simple process. In addition, the 3GX can support all of the CCPM swashplate system currently on the market including 90, 120, 135, and 140 degrees swashplates.
●Graphical illustrated instruction on the computer setup software directs the user through a step by step setup process, allowing for quick setups without omitting any steps.

The first in T-Rex line to incorporate fully programmable rotor head, providing 3 positive/negative deltas and numerous Bell & Hiller mixing ratios. In addition to the numerous flybar ratios and two types of head dampeners (soft/hard), the flybar paddle weight can also be adjusted to achieve extremely flexibility in flight characteristic tuning. Pilot can program the head for superior stability suitable for F3C competition, or lightening fast agility for 3D aerobatic exhibition. Furthermore, the head rigidity has been improved even further, and specially treated for an extraordinary appearance.

 

The frame utilizes 2mm carbon fiber plates of the highest spec. Patented composite material construction technique cleverly mounts the servos at correct geometry angles and CG adjustable fast-dissemble battery mount without the use of locking nuts. The efficient use of frame space not only improved overall rigidity, but also created a minimalist appearance. In addition, four reinforcement plates are strategically placed at the canopy mounting points to minimize crash damage.

 

 

 

Utilize direct link CCPM swashplate control system to enable direct and fast control response. Specially designed anodized CNC servo horns are not only visually pleasing, but are extremely rigid to prevent warpage issues.
All aluminum elevator servo mount and all aluminum elevator control A-arm assembly eliminate the need for upgrades.

 

 

 

 

Light H-shaped equipment mounting platform with dedicated gyro mount provide large mounting space for equipment mounting flexibility, resulting in a clean layout of your electronics that is easily achievable.

Inspired by T-Rex 700’s battery rail mounting system, this improved version utilizes dual rails, along with a spring loaded locking mechanism to achieve the ultimate combination. Battery tray is locked by a clicking latch, without the use of retaining Velcro straps. A simple push of the release button will eject the battery tray, allowing battery to be pulled out easily.

Suitable battery voltage is 12S lipo at 44.4 volts (two 6s 22.2V lipo batteries connected in series), with capacity in the range of 2600mAh to 4600mAh. Battery sizes can be 43x143x33mm(2600mAh), 43x143x40mm(3300mAh), or 44x168x50mm(4600mAh). Approximate flight time range between 4 to 6 minutes of 3D, or 8 to 12 minutes of normal flying. However, after extensive testing, batteries with capacity of 3300 mAh yield the most optimal power to weight ratio.

A brand new 600 class high voltage 12S motor, paired with the result of Align’s extensive test for most optimal gear ratio, provides explosive power output. The grea ration is changed from MOD0.6 into MOD 0.8 to increase its strength for gear strips. Correctly tuned tail gear ratio ensures tail rotor speed is maintained within proper range, eliminating any overspeed induced tail vibration found in other helicopters, and providing the most effective tail locking efficiency. Due to the increased in power output, main gear utilizes module 1 gear pitch found in 700 class helicopters. In addition, helical gear design effectively minimize power loss and reduce noise. A third motor bearing block ensures consistent gear mesh, and eliminates stripped gear caused by gear mesh variations from gear warpage.

 

 

Additional radial bearing is added to the top of the main gear hub to ensure stable rotation. This improves and eliminate jammed one way bearing in the condition of high power in high speed.

Trex 550E and 600E are suitable to upgrade with MOD 0.8 tail drive gear assembly.

 

 

 

High quality 5mm carbon rod is used for rudder pushrod to minimize the effect of vibration on rudder. Not only does this increases the helicopter’s rudder locking efficiency, but it also effectively improves the rudder control feel.

 

 

 

 

Brand new CNC machined metal tail gear box, with thicker side plates to increase rigidity. The more streamlined design also allows for simpler disassembly. Tail pitch slider features wider span to make the tail moves more precisely, with larger diameter slider to improve positive sliding action and durability. Tail pitch bell crank socket contains embedded Teflon sleeve, and features a shorter distance between bellcrank and pitch slider for reduced leverage distance. These factors all contributes to increased smoothness in tail pitch sliding action, minimize interference. From our long time testing, the result show this is effectively increase longevity and the new tail control linkage rod minimizes deadband and improves control precision.

We have also improve the tail rudder control set of Trex 600E PRO to increase longevity and minimized deadband.
